The Spousal Overunit pointed me at New Music Cultivation Fund, a way of encourgaging the commissioning of new musical works. It sounds like a great idea. One clause sounds a bit odd, "At the present time, this grant is available for commissioning music from award-winning composer, Sy Brando" I just wonder if it's just a vehicle so that award-winning composer Sy Brando gets more work.
